You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT about simple physics. Cockers don't shoot a flatter trajectory or shoot farther or anything like that. Sometimes when you're shooting an Autococker, however, it LOOKS like it is shooting straighter. This is because of perspective and the lower profile of the marker. It's an optical illusion :) The same concept that makes David Copperfield rich makes Autocockers so popular... Anyways, about the topic at hand.... You could get a BKO and you would have: A simple electropneumatic design Or you could get an Autococker and have: A complicated design - It's a pump gun with a cocking system slapped on after the fact! The Autococker is a nice marker, don't get me wrong, I just think it's overrated. Especially when you consider the price! |
