I may have had a similar problem. I had a little gap between the two receivers. I loosened the two screws holding in LP kit. Then tightened the receivers..after that I just screwed those two screws back in and I have not had a problem since. Actually now that I think of it..I only had that problem the first time I put in the LP kit. I wonder if that somehow straightened out the LP kit..I guess it couldve been a little off center.,,
