If you really want to "compact down" your 98, something else to think about is an Intruder kit from Pro-Team. I'm pretty sure they're still available. www.proteamdirect.com is their site. I've been getting stuff from them for most of a decade, and been happy with the quality and prices.

Geez, I should get residual commissions from these guys!
Actually, I'm thinking of getting one for my own soon-to-arrive 98, and then adding perhaps some sort of sliding stock.
