New Response Trigger Not Working-Is there a trick?

I just put a new Response Trigger in and my gun shoots just like it did before, without the RT. There is no difference in trigger speed when I adjust the RT screw. So while it is hooked up, it is not working. I turned the adjustment screw all the way out and when I shoot I get an ocasional 2 round burst (one in 12 shots, maybe), but the trigger pull is the same. I have to put the same amount of pressure on the trigger to pull it back as with out the RT. I can't hold it in and get full auto or even a regular round burst. The front screw attachment turns white and cold so it is getting CO2. I have heard there is a trick to getting them up and running? Is this true? Anyone know what I can do?
