i have a tippmann 98 custom

i have installed a vertical adapter

and from that put on an expansion chamber
its a "intruder assault system-vertical foregrip"

i use a 20oz co2 tank

i have played about 5 times since installing this, but today after i had my tank filled up i ran into a problem

i was going to try out some paint that i had, but when i screwed my tank into the expansion chamber it started spraying out co2, i thought no big deal, just replace the o-ring, i did this but it still leaks when i screw it togother, the only thing i see that may be wrong is the threads on my co2 tank, when screwing it in a few days ago the peak of the top thread was sheared away

if anyone can tell me exactly what is causing this problem please tell me

the only leak is where the tank and my expansion chamber meet.
SINCERELY JACK RENTER
