That depends entirely on the specific electronic grip you choose.

IMHO, "Is it worth it" always boils down to what your money is worth to you. It's always going to have the same performance of the Spyder - a blowback semi-auto - the main difference will be a faster, lighter, easier to pull trigger. The extra modes are not legal at most paintball fields.
