Question on paintball in the rain.

I'm having problems getting my gun to be accurate in the rain. Does anyone know of anything to help keep water out of the barrel and action? I live in Washington state, so I play in the rain about half the time. Right now I'm shooting a PMI Trracer pump with a silenced 12" barrel. I've tried putting a shield over the front of the barrel to deflect water, but it broke after a direct hit. Are there some guns that are more accurate than others when they get wet? If so, what gun would you recomend?
