Lots of people make barrel covers, or wrap their barrel in tape to block the porting. I've never actually had a problem with rainwater getting inside my barrel, the porting holes are small, and a water drop has too much surface tension to drip through them easily. The bigger problem comes from the paint absorbing moisture out of the air. Best protection from that is keeping it in completely sealed bags out of the rain between games. If you have a powerfeed, make a rain cover for that, so water doesn't drip into the breech area and on the paintball that's sitting and waiting to be fired. See you on the field, |
