1st: Check and make sure that the holes in the valve ar lined up with the holes in the body.
2nd: Try putting in a lighter valve spring
3rd: Try putting in a Lighter striker spring (use this with advice #2)
4th: if all else fails, bring it to the shop you bought it from and say "hey, what gives, its not working" If you bought it in the last few months and it dosent have any real signs of abuse on it then they should fix it for you. Good luck.
