I'm partial to bottom-line, myself (converted from vertical); but I think the back-bottle ASA is angled, so your feed tube should clear your tank.
12 oz is kind of big for a Phantom; I usually use a 9 oz, and mine is GF. If you have clearance problems, go to a smaller tank. If you like the 10-rnd tubes, consider going vertical with a 4 oz tank.
