Well, I'm graduating into pure stock class from the modified stock that I played with my BE Tigershark. (which has recently been retired.) Using a big tank in the woods, to avoid changing 12 grams, and to have a steady shoulder stock to help me aim. The reasoning behind the 12 oz tank is that a 9 ounce tank is a little too short for me to shoulder the gun comfortably in the rifle configuration.
: I'm partial to bottom-line, myself (converted from vertical); but I think the back-bottle ASA is angled, so your feed tube should clear your tank.
: 12 oz is kind of big for a Phantom; I usually use a 9 oz, and mine is GF. If you have clearance problems, go to a smaller tank. If you like the 10-rnd tubes, consider going vertical with a 4 oz tank.
