"It's really annoying to see a ball roll out the barrel onto the ground in front of you; you have to dry fire, giving away your position, then pump another round in"

Um...why would you need to dry fire? This happened all the time before I got my detent rings (and even a few times since...). Usually, if I notice the ball roll out, I just pump again, trying to keep the marker level (not that easy with a VSC ;).
