Mr. Lord Bunker,
Did you have a bad day? FYI, I started playing paintball with talons, and i loved them to death/still aprreciate their good qualities... but i think your comments about my attitude are inaccurate. Example:

"to disrespect the talon is to disrispect the type of mentality it takes to play with a pump marker(s) in general"

This is a nice smart sounding catchy phrase. However, I just disrespect when the pump arm breaks off the gun, and having to use 12 grams/buy an adapter. Sorry that i wanted a metal gun that could take some of the abuse the friends i bring over to play can dish out. I think the spirit of playing pump doesn't depend on a gun being plastic. I own a Mag, and enjoy playing against semis with my pump more than with my Mag. I feel that pump spirit running through me, and it hurts to have it doubted.

As for balancing the playing field. I just wanted to even the firepower. We always end up with one person laying down 8 BPS of cover fire while the other one runs to get a nice shooting angle on the guy who's stuck behind a too small tree. I was only trying to give him a fighting chance/ have another pump around to have fun with, not upset the Pump playing world by suggesting that pumps are harder to use (which, for most casual paintballers, they are).

anyways, thanks for any advice given. Stay cool. All i wanted was advice not a lecture. thank you to Phantom, didn't have anything to quarrel with what you said, and the scenario sounds cool, i'll try it. Peace.
-Perry
