Pure Energy preset on an IR3?

As I eagerly await the arrival of my IR3 (brand new, only $1200 : D ), I started wondering if my Pure Energy preset tank (850 psi) would be ok to use on it.

I was checking out the owners manual online and it said a maximum 600psi output from the tank. I know that LCDs have no problem with 850 psi going into the minireg so I cant imagine why it wouldnt be ok for an IR3. Its the same reg as an LCD, so why wouldnt it do the same job on an IR3?

BTW, I know that "only $1200" is still a lot of money....a painful amount of money.
