You do NOT have to use the cops, it's an optional feature. And just for the record, the cops is NOT affected by marker noise or vibration. Alot of Infrared anti chop sensors are, but the cops is not. That's why WDP developed it, it is the most reliable anti chop device available. And the HALO has a faster, more consistent feed rate, and in almost every aspect, outperforms the Evo II, so don't replace that either. When you say the marker is "getting blowback" you mean blowback into the feed neck? That could be a dwell setting problem, bolt problem, or valve problem. If there were more details it would be alot easier to diagnose. Why don't you have your brother send it to WDP and have 'em take a look at it. : Use the cops and pack it in silicon grease to make certain it does not since marker noise in adition to the ball droping and hitting the cops.
