I set my cocking rod length (loosen set screw and back it out) so the bolt, at rest (natural), is not visible in the feed tube (about 1mm back). I beleive the ram does actually push it furter back under pressure, but this will give you less of a margin for error in case you short stroke it a little. Hope it helps. Razor : I have a BM autococker that I have not shot yet. When I cock the gun (pull the cocking rod back) and slide the back block back against it. I can still see some of the bolt in the chamber when I look through the vertical feed. Is this normal? I can actualy puch the back block and cocking rod back a little further and the bolt dissappears but that is not the natural resting position for the cocking rod. I'm wondering if this is going to be a problem when I shoot it and how I can adjust it. Can you lengthen the cocking rod? When the gun fires does the back block actually push the cocking rod further then where it comes to rest when its cocked?
