ALL of them will cycle faster than you can feed balls. Some have longer strokes. Some have shorter. Maybe 1/8" difference.. So what. Both have to open the bolt the same minimal distance.
Your ram length determine how far it will travel to close as the back block strike the receiver OR the ram bottom out at the end of its stoke before the back block strikes the receiver. The cocking rod length stops the ram travel going backwards. The hammer is pulled back until it physically is stopped OR the ram bottoms out at the other end of the stroke. So we a spliting hairs talking about rams.

Some of those mini rams use a smaller barb fitting and smaller port size. Suddenly you have problems with your hose sizes. One end of a hose needs a big hose and the other end needs a small hose. Don't mix and match hose and barb sizes.
