I don't think that an adjustable reg is necessary. I think that the barrel drop forward and bolt are. But I like the pnematics on the 2000+ cockers. And with everything you add your gun is going to shoot differently with each upgrade. And since he is thinking on buying a 03 and not a freeflow or a higher priced variant I an guessing that he doesn't have loads of cash to pay for upgrades.

So i Think that a barrel and drop forward are the most important ones. Maybe a bolt if you can spare the cash but maybe not
