Yes, I looked at the Harbor Freight items at our local store.

Has been my experience that things that are made to do EVERYTHING, don't do anything VERY WEll.

Still, for a low volume hobbist.....

But I bought one of their drill presses and 6 years later, the bearing ( or more likely BUSHING) is going out around the chuck shaft. Wobbles like crazy and getting worse.

Now I repeat. This guy is asking $500 for a machine worth over $1500 plus it comes with all the accessories you would still have to buy otherwise.

You buy half and I will make parts for you or anyone else until I have paid you back $250 worth of stuff or more....

How about 3 people splinting it 3 ways, 5 people - 5 ways. We all need access to a lathe. It would be more fun to do it ourself but in a pinch....

Someone to make them for us is Not a bad plan.... Lets coop.
