: Can I change the nipple myself or is it more complicated than that?

: ++++To change the nipple, you first need to bleed the bottle completely. the easiest way is to open the burst disk nut and let it leak until it's dry. Be careful if you remove the nut completely, as it may pop out with some little force.
: If the bottle is empty already, open up the fill nipple, just so you can see what it looks like inside. Also you can then clean it and check teh oring, then oil and replace.

The bottle was empty so I took off the fill nipple and I did not see an 0-ring?? There is something metal on the inside bottom of the fill nipple. It looks kind of like a burst disk. I tried to remove it with my finger nails but it is really on there. Do I have to take a knife and take the metal thing off to replace the o-ring? The fill nipple goes into a metal piece that says Nitro-Duck on it, if that helps. The guy working at the local paintball store told me to take the fill nipple off and replace the oring and he gave me two o-rings of different sizes, but I was expecting to find an oring after I took of the fill nipple not something metal covering the inside of the fill nipple.
