Phantom Question

Just got a used Phantom SC black with M6 grip and rear 12gr. I spoke to Mike about getting some o-rings and I received them promptly. One hell of a guy.
Anywho, As this was a slightly used one, I had to put back together and don't know what should have come original. It shoots great and looks like new.
Do all Phantoms come with the barrel detent rings? Mine didn't but it still shoots great. Or are they for sizing the paint better at the breach?
