With some tricky springing and a tightbore barrel I've heard of them going down to 650psi, but the powertube design is just too restrictive to pressure flow to go much beyond that. Opening up the air passages any more than they are will weaken the powertube and it will crack under use. I saw the effect of a powertube cracking while pumping... poor guy got a cheekful of liquid CO2 !

: Can you make a phantom low pressure? I know it's made to operate around 800-900 psi but what happens if you go bellow that. Can you work on the internals somehoe to make it work at lower presures?
