Everyone slinging paint from that far. I thought most paint flingers liked to get in a little closer and bunker people and what-not. I've never played there but I seem to recall that alot of their place is open? That could be a reason for the long-balling. One the subject of your low velocities, can I assume you are using a Talon? : went to the mxs scenario jagged alliance at dropzone last weekend, notcied that people were opening up from an almost rediculas distance. i mean most of the time your standing there watching paintballs bounce down the road. the main problem i was having was 2 fold. : a. i can't get my velocity up above 240 for some reason.(stupid talon parts) : b. nobody was moving up. every body seemed pretty content to shoot from like 50 yards away. : : at times i found you could use the creek bed and other natural terrain to move up. but still got hit by stray balls a couple times attempting that. other times i would set up in reserve and snipe people after the line fell, or anybody trying any outragous flanking manueveres. but there were time like on the speedball fields that you just seemed kinda screwed. : any body else ever experience this.
