Ok I got this one.
Accuracy is almost completely a factor of a good paint to barrel match. An A-5 with the same barrel and paint as a phantom will shoot just as accuratly.
So why does everyone think pumps are more accurate?
This is because pump players tend not to spray and pray. Since they shoot less shots everyone thinks pumps are more accurate but it is simply a factor of the person playing. Especialy if a pump player has a stock class set up or limited paint, since every shot counts when you only have 10 shots at a time in your gun, and you only get around 30 shots before you have to switch CO2.

So pump players tend to aim a lot more thus giving them the perception of accuracy. But if people would take the time to aim semi's they could be just as accurate.
Why play pump? It will make you a better player since you will have to think about each shot more. And it is always fun to take a pump and tag a guy with an angel :)

: Because phantoms are pump are they more accurate then semi's? I was told that pumps are more accurate, like for the sniper's role. any advice?
