i think there's an issue of recoil too. i think alot of semi's specially one's with a heavy striker like the m98 then to be less accurate do to all the weight flailing around. pump's have fewer parts that are moving when you pull the trigger. this is a hard thing to test you would need a spring loaded or suspended vice. but then there's also the supject of suppresive and cover fire and other questionable shots. semi's get an accuracy advantage in this regard. when fireing through thick brush and grass a semi will put a sting of balls in a tighter group than a pump will(especially if you use auto trigger). so sustained firing = semi more accurate |
