: : OK here it is we only tested effective range. And about the free space, we had plenty of it, 10 acres to be exact where the new feilds are going in. Measuring it was no problem either. It was set up so that every 10 feet was maked so we only had to measure in from there. I did not test for the drop so only the shots that did not fall counted. This could have caused a mistake I admit. You reach the proshop at www.teamsplattattack.org/pro/shop

: How did you go about testing this 'effective range', now that we've found out that you did not test actual physical range. You said you fired, and that those that did not fall counted. What does this mean? Firing at a target? Firing above or below a mark? What?

: Now accuracy can in part be determined by a paintball gun, so 'effective range', although VERY subjective (I'd like to know how it was tested here, I haven't heard a good one yet) can change. However, I believe we have now agreed that you have not come up with the miracle test that proves physics wrong.

Agree? Now I'm am not sure where you got that from. We won't agree on anything until I actualy see you post in this forum that cockers are better than angels when it comes to distance and accuracy. You'll notice that I have dropped the rate of fire subject, but on do to the fact that rate of fire is dependent on ones trigger finger and that somepeople are more skilled when it comes to different triggger pulls that others may not be able to obtain equal rates of fire without a lightened trigger. And about the test, if you had only gone to the website I listed above after you so EAGERLY asked me to give it ot you, you would understand all the specifics of the test. Ok the paint was shot at a 2 foot by 2 foot piece of plywood that was mounted three feet from the ground. The center of the board was straight in line with barrel of each gun. after each shot at the board it was moved forward or back. If the ball broke near the center the board was moved 10 feet back to the next marker, if the splatt was in between the bottom of the board and the center the board was moved back 5 feet. If the ball fell before the board or did not splatt the board was moved 5 feet forward. Some minor adjustments were made for different dpatts but that was the basic setup for the experiment.
