timing question

I timed a cocker according to Ravis instructions.
The problem is, when I shoot fast, the cocking rod won't stay cocked. I know I', not short stroking it, The lpr is almost all the way up(stock setting). The gun is a stock 03 with a 20 oz anti siphon and a stabilizer set at 350-400psi. I've also been using a lot of air, just trying to time the gun.
