It is one of two things. If it has hoses going to it, it is your front reg. If the wierd metal piece doesn't have any hoses, it is a power chamber, also called a low pressure chamber. I would suspect it is the front reg.


: I was inspecting the front end of my autococker while timing it today and noticed a metal cylinder about the size of the ram sitting in between the ram and the 4 way. It looks and feels like steel. It also has an allen screw adjustment on the front, which appears to have teflon tape wrapped around the threads that are showing. Anyone have any ideas about what it is? Thanks!
