Tank Rules

Reading some of the posts here, I have heard others mention "rules" regarding tanks - i.e. kill switches, ect. My question: is there a recognized standard set or rules for operating paintball tanks, or are the rules varied by region or even field? You don't have to go to any great length, but if you could pass on any advice or links it would be appreciated. Some groups in our area (including ourselves, the MN Militia - www.mnmilitia.com) are starting to build tanks and I have a feeling that there are some safety issues we may be overlooking. Thanks much,

Chris
